FOUNDER
Ruari’s background spans finance, technology and service in a British Army reconnaissance regiment - experience that has shaped his operational discipline, judgement and calm approach to complexity.
Over the past decade, he has designed intricate, high-touch journeys for private clients around the world. Frustrated by the formulaic nature of much of the luxury travel market, he established Whalley & Ross to offer something more considered and genuinely personal.
Today, he leads a small, focused team and remains closely involved in every project, working with a select number of clients each year to ensure exceptional care and attention.
An avid diver, skier and photographer, Ruari continues to explore destinations first-hand, bringing practical knowledge and global perspective to the journeys he designs.
